My Idea for my maze project was a circular maze where you worked to get to the ending spot in the middle. It would have a sloped part from the middle to the bottom so that the ball would roll right to where you can pick it up. But this never happened as it is too advanced.
I started by making a bunch of circles inside larger circles. I then cut out every other circle to make the paths. Next I cut out holes in the walls and made dividers to create the maze. It was then ready to put into fusion 360.
Once the maze was in fusion 360 I did the setup for it but I quickly ran into a problem. The whole maze wouldn't select like it should have so I had to go through and select every wall one by one. Which was about 170 walls. But even after selecting all the walls it wouldn't simulate correctly. After 3 classes of trying to troubleshoot the problem I decided to make a new simple maze just to get the project over-with.
This maze worked a little bit better than the circular maze but I still had the same problem. This is a picture of the maze being simulated and you can tell that some spots just dont look right.
I decided to just print it off like this. This is the final product. You can see that especially on the right side it really messed up.
It seemed like it was a good project even thought it really irritated me. It must have been something of my own doing though because I was the only person to have this problem in the class. I think that it helped me learn the ins and outs of fusion 360.
